Based on the popular Palm PDA, our VS1 hand-held, battery operated, bar code scanning device features 8 MB RAM, 4 MB Flash ROM, 33 MHZ processor and a rubber protective case complete with elastic hand strap. Extremely quick and easy to use, the built in bar code scanner accurately reads the VIN number right off the new car sticker or door jam or you can manually enter the VIN on the screen with the provided stylus.

Eliminate transcription errors and validate the VIN at the same time with the built in VIN Check software. Scan and store up to 99 VIN numbers at a time and it handles non-standard antique and import serial numbers. The included stencil cutter automatically cuts 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 stencils for each vehicle. The stencil cutter comes complete with an infrared receiver port, no cables needed to download and print your VIN numbers. Simply “point and print” from the PDA to the stencil cutter. Multiple fonts and sizes are available. This unit can be custom configured to cut one or two lines per stencil, one line with the VIN number and a second line with a telephone number or business name or combination of both.
